Practical AI Workshop

Identify where AI can create the most value in your business, build a personalised plan, and start implementing useful solutions with one-to-one support.

  • In person
  • 09:30–17:30
  • 4 to 6 participants

A day dedicated to your business

This workshop is for owners, managers, and professionals who want to move from ideas to practical application.

On the day we define priorities and your plan, then spend most of the time building useful systems with individual support.

Each participant works on their own business. The goal is not a one-size-fits-all exercise, but building systems you can use after the workshop.

What you will do

  • Diagnose bottlenecks, repetitive tasks, and opportunities.
  • Identify important processes, software, and data sources.
  • Prioritise initiatives by impact, effort, and feasibility.
  • Receive independent tool recommendations.
  • Create a personalised plan to keep applying AI.
  • Implement assistants, automations, and other systems suited to your case.
  • Get questions answered and blockers resolved with individual support.

What you might build

During the workshop, each participant chooses one main initiative, creates a first usable result or prototype, and receives a personalised continuity plan after the session. Examples:

  • build custom assistants for specific tasks;
  • prepare systems for email, proposals, content, or customer support;
  • organise internal knowledge and documentation;
  • standardise processes and create work instructions;
  • set up simple automations and scheduled tasks;
  • connect software through integrations;
  • prototype chatbots and other digital workflows.

Completion depends on preparation, access, complexity, and pace. Integrations, migrations, production changes, and specialist development are not guaranteed during the workshop.

How it works

  1. 1

    Register interest

    Share your contact details, availability, and what you’d like to work on. No payment and no reserved seat at this stage.

  2. 2

    Group formation

    Miguel puts together a small group of 4 to 6 people with compatible schedules and regions.

  3. 3

    Date and location proposal

    When a viable group exists, you receive a concrete date and location proposal — typically 2 or 3 options with a decision deadline.

  4. 4

    Registration and payment

    Only after an invite to a concrete edition do you complete the registration form, pay, and upload proof of payment. Your seat is confirmed after payment is verified.

  5. 5

    Preparation and workshop

    You receive a preparation checklist. On the day: priorities and a plan first, then most of the time is hands-on building with individual support.

Programme

Framing and objectives

Define each company's context and prepare the work.

Priorities and plan

Define your priorities and what to build first.

Implementation lab

Hands-on building begins — assistants, automations, processes, and other systems.

Lunch break

Lunch is not included. Participants may bring food, order in, or eat together.

Implementation lab (continued)

Continue guided building with individual support.

Testing and improvement

Validate results, resolve blockers, and improve implementations.

Next steps

Organise work completed and define following priorities.

The programme may be adjusted during the day according to the group's pace. Coffee, water, and snacks will be available for flexible breaks throughout the day.

Who it is for

This workshop is suited to:

  • owners and managers of small and medium-sized businesses;
  • professionals responsible for operations, sales, marketing, or administration;
  • employees with autonomy to improve processes;
  • people already using AI who want to structure their work better.

No programming skills required.

This workshop assumes basic experience with an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. You should be able to start a conversation, give instructions, attach a document, and evaluate a response. If you are still getting started, try the introductory AI course first, or contact us for advice suited to your case.

For the current practical format, each participant needs an active paid subscription to at least one AI assistant. If you do not yet use AI with basic autonomy or do not have a suitable subscription, start with the introductory course or contact us for advice.

To take part in hands-on implementation, you need an active paid subscription and working access to at least one AI assistant on your own laptop. Third-party tool subscriptions and usage are not included in the price.

If you do not want to use cloud services, or your data has confidentiality restrictions, say so in the interest form. Viability of a local path or anonymised data must be confirmed before payment. Local solutions are not presented as an immediate guaranteed alternative.

By 3 business days before the workshop, confirm on the laptop you will bring: AI assistant login, access to working documents, and permissions for tools you intend to test. Social, ads, CRM, or email account connections must be pre-authorised by your organisation's administrator. Login, account recovery, admin permissions, or third-party setup issues may block implementation on the day.

Small group

Each edition runs with a minimum of four and a maximum of six participants.

The small group combines collective work with individual support. Companies from the same sector may attend, so each participant should avoid sharing confidential information they do not want exposed to the group.

Participation and logistics

The format requires active participation for the full day and individual work on a laptop. Companions, including children, may stay only by prior agreement and when conditions do not disrupt the participant or the group.

Please arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrival or absences during diagnosis and implementation blocks may reduce what you achieve.

Included

  • Full-day in-person participation.
  • Diagnosis and prioritisation.
  • Personalised plan.
  • Individual support during implementation.
  • Access to materials, templates, and assistants used in the workshop.
  • Coffee, water, and snacks for flexible breaks during the day.
  • Workshop led by Miguel Cabrita, an AI consultant and certified trainer in Portugal.

Not included

  • Lunch.
  • Third-party tool subscriptions or usage.
  • Custom development after the workshop.
  • Complex implementations requiring migrations, special access, or extra work.
  • Legal audit, vendor approval, or compliance validation.
  • Follow-up support.

Price

€295 per participant

The displayed price is the final amount.

Your seat is confirmed only after payment is verified for a concrete edition.

Registering interest does not reserve a seat or require payment.

Invoice your company

You may request an invoice in your employer's name on the concrete edition registration form.

If you intend to request reimbursement through your employer or use a benefit such as Coverflex, confirm eligibility beforehand. Approval depends on your employer's internal policy.

Estimate the value of the time you could reclaim

Enter how much an hour of your time is worth and how many hours you spend on repetitive work each week.

Potential annual value of reclaimed time

Conservative — 25% of time reclaimed €0
Realistic — 50% of time reclaimed €0
Maximum potential — 100% of time reclaimed €0

This estimate is indicative, not a guaranteed saving. Actual results depend on your processes, tools, and the level of automation possible.

Editions

Each edition runs with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 participants. Date and location are proposed after a viable group of qualified applicants exists. If the operational minimum is no longer met after an edition opens, it may be rescheduled; you will be notified in advance and may keep your seat on the new date, transfer, or request a full refund.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need AI experience?

Yes, basic experience. You should be able to start a conversation, give instructions, attach a document, and evaluate a response in an AI assistant. If you are still getting started, take the introductory course first, or contact us for advice suited to your case.

Is an AI tool subscription required?

Yes. For hands-on implementation you need an active paid subscription and working access to at least one AI assistant on your laptop. Subscriptions and usage are not included in the price.

Can I use only local tools?

Note confidentiality or cloud restrictions on the interest form. Viability of a local path or anonymised data must be confirmed before payment. Local solutions are not an immediate guaranteed alternative.

What data can I bring to the workshop?

You are responsible for confirming you may use the data, documents, and accounts you bring. Personal, commercial, or confidential data should be anonymised or replaced with examples before being sent to AI tools, unless an approved business account and policy already exist. The workshop does not include legal audit or compliance validation. Initiatives involving sensitive data may be limited to process design and a prototype with fictional data.

When and where is the next edition?

Date and location are coordinated with a viable group of qualified applicants. We do not publish hypothetical dates. After you apply, you receive an invite only when a concrete proposal exists.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. More advanced tools may be explored when it makes sense, always with support.

Is the trainer certified?

Yes. Miguel holds a Certificate of Pedagogical Competencies (CCP), a pedagogical credential issued in Portugal.

How many solutions will I build?

You choose one main initiative and create a first usable result or prototype, plus a continuity plan. Completion depends on preparation, access, complexity, and pace.

How many people attend each edition?

Each edition runs with a minimum of four and a maximum of six participants.

Can a colleague from my company attend too?

Yes. Each person completes their own registration and payment when a concrete edition is open. Pair registration follows the conditions on the registration form.

Is lunch included?

No. You may bring food, order in, or join the group's informal lunch.

Are coffee breaks included?

Yes. Coffee, water, and snacks will be available for flexible breaks throughout the day. There are no rigid coffee-break slots. Lunch is not included.

Is there support after the workshop?

The workshop ends on the day. To continue, you may join another edition, hire a specific project, or subscribe to ongoing advisory.

Can I request an invoice in my company's name?

Yes, on the concrete edition registration form. The invoice is issued after payment is confirmed.

Can I use Coverflex or request reimbursement from my company?

You may ask your employer to assess reimbursement or an applicable benefit. Approval depends on the employer's policy; confirm before paying.

Does the workshop issue a DGERT or SIGO certificate?

No. This is a practical workshop led by Miguel Cabrita, who holds a CCP, but it is not DGERT-certified and does not issue a SIGO certificate.
